After a very short session painting the sax player again, I became envious of my friend Marybeth who was sketching a mason jar with some water in it. The model with the saxophone is a bit too interested in the painters, breaking his pose frequently to comment on things or tune into conversations in the studio.
I like the quiet mason jar.
